Since the entire piece is made of iron, it heats up faster and retains heat efficiently. Likewise, it is also the ideal piece to keep food cold if it has been previously chilled in the refrigerator. This piece is compatible with gas, electric, vitroceramic and induction stove and oven up to 240 degrees (if used with the lid, it must be up to 220 degrees since the handle has a lower resistance). * Continuous washing in the dishwasher may contribute to some loss of shine of the enamel. Each casserole dish has an instruction leaflet which we recommend you read carefully.
