Gato Preto – Living Spaces was founded in Lisbon in 1986 with an ambition that remains unchanged to this day: to create homes with personality, where everyone can express their way of living.
Previously known as A Loja do Gato Preto, we are a Portuguese home décor and furniture brand, with in-house design and collections that combine creativity, trends, and a distinctive identity.
Over the years, we have grown and crossed borders. Today, we are present in Portugal and Spain, with physical stores and online, and in France through our online store.
In 2020, we began a new chapter: we renewed our identity, became Gato Preto – Living Spaces, and accelerated our digital transformation.
Four decades later, we still believe the same thing: home is where life takes shape.
