Gato Preto – Living Spaces, formerly known as A Loja do Gato Preto, is a Portuguese home décor brand that stands out for its in-house design and unique positioning in the field of decoration and furniture. Founded in 1986 in Lisbon, the brand quickly distinguished itself for its creative concept and strong visual identity. It has physical and online stores in Portugal and Spain, as well as in France through its online store. 2020 marked the year of Gato Preto's rebranding and digital transformation, with a strong focus on an omni-channel strategy. From then on, Gato Preto won, for the first time in its history, reputation and recognition awards, including rankings of the companies with the best reputation in the sector and the most valuable brands. In addition, the brand has been distinguished year after year with the ‘Consumer Choice’ award in the Home Decor Stores category, reflecting the trust and preference of customers.
