Unboxing
- UNPACK - Carefully cut the outer bag with scissors, without damaging the fabric. Do not use knives.
- UNROLL - Carefully cut the ends of the plastic to unroll the mattress.
- EXPAND - Remove the protective bag and let the mattress expand. You can use it right away, but it may take between 48 to 72 hours to fully expand, regain its original shape, and reach optimal comfort. For best results, let it rest in a well-ventilated room during this period.
Recommendations and Maintenance
Rotate the mattress regularly – To prevent it from sagging or wearing unevenly, rotate the mattress (without flipping it over). Do this every two weeks during the first 6 months, and then every 3 months.
Use a mattress protector – A good protector keeps the mattress clean for longer, acting as a barrier against sweat, dust mites, and other substances.
Let it breathe – Air out the bed for at least 30 minutes every morning — ideally with the window open — to release moisture and freshen the mattress.
Exposure to natural light – Every two weeks, remove the bedding and let the mattress catch some sun for a few hours. It is one of the most natural and effective ways to maintain hygiene.
Distribute weight evenly – Avoid placing heavy objects or always sleeping in the same spot. This helps preserve the internal structure.
Professional cleaning – Consider having a professional deep cleaning once a year to maintain hygiene and long-term performance.
Cleaning Care
Vacuum regularly – Vacuum the mattress surface every two weeks — ideally before making the bed — to remove dust, skin particles, and allergens.
Clean only specific areas – If necessary, gently clean stains with a damp cloth, cold water, and mild soap. Let it dry completely before using again.
Never wet or use steam – Avoid soaking the mattress or using harsh products, bleach, or steamers — they can damage the internal materials.
Cover care – If your mattress has a washable cover:
- Hand wash in cold water to protect the fibers.
- If using a machine, choose a delicate cycle without spinning.
- Air dry and avoid any heat source.
