Recipe: Black Tagliatelle with Shrimp

Ingredients (for 2 people):
• 200 g black tagliatelle (pasta with cuttlefish ink)
• 200 g peeled shrimp
• 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
• Olive oil as needed
• Salt and pepper to taste
• A touch of chili (optional)
• Fresh basil leaves to finish
• Lemon zest (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Cook the black tagliatelle in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet or cast iron pan, heat a generous drizzle of olive oil and sauté the garlic until it starts to brown.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until pink. Season with salt, pepper, and, if desired, a little chili.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp, stirring well to absorb the flavors.
  5. Serve with fresh basil leaves and a touch of lemon zest.
